River Trip North is perfect for the novice paddler and occurs daily through out the paddling season. This trip takes the average paddler about 3 hours and is a leisurely paddle downstream with no portages. The river winds its way through towering stands of maple and white pine. Abundant with fish, it is an anglers paradise. Commonly seen wildlife include. Beaver, Deer, Moose and turtles, as well as a variety of Birds indigenous to the area. Tall flowing marsh grass and colorful plant life line the shores and the many back bays of the York River that beckons you to explore.
Itinerary:
Arrive at Trips and Trails in Bancroft at 11:00 or 2:00 pm
Register and gather your gear
We will shuttle you to your departure point.
Our staff will see you safely off on your RTN Adventure.
In approximately three hours you will arrive back at Trips and Trails Adventure Outfitting where our staff will be waiting.
